Dance Buddies

So you've probably heard that Karen Ideker won't be able to teach for a little while. She will be back soon but in the meantime Diane Hopper will be teaching Cowboy 2 step on Tuesdays and Cowboy ChaCha on Thursdays.  Wednesday will be a practice session at the Olympia Elks with music by the incomparable Tom Mull.  Times and places are the same.

Absolutely Ballroom is sponsoring four formal dinner dances in 2015 — April 4, June 6, October 3, and November 7.  The dances will be held at the Olympia Country and Golf Club, 3636 Country Club Drive NW, Olympia WA.  Social time at 6:00 p.m., buffet dinner prepared by the Country Club at 6:30 p.m., and dancing from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.  The fee for the four dances will be based upon the number of people paying an annual fee, but cost will range between $245 per person for four dances (maximum 50 people registering) and $310 per person for four dances (minimum 20 people registering).  Dances will be limited to 50 attendees to insure comfortable dancing on the 1377 square foot dance floor.  If less than 50 people sign up for annual participation, dancers may attend individual dances at $85 per person with an RSVP at least twelve days prior to the dance event.  Attire is formal:  tuxedos or suits for men and evening gowns or cocktail dresses for women.  Contact Karen Ideker at 360-280-6885 or karenideker@comcast.net.
